Future of Ask.com – Microsoft?

ask_com-400-400According to Search Engine Land, Barry Diller CEO of IAC, parent company of Ask.com – said that he would be open to selling the fourth largest search engine, which only has approximately 4% of todays search market. The future of Ask.com is grim as search competition is extremely high trying to keep up with Google, Yahoo and the fastest growing search engine, Bing. Who could possibly be in the running to buy Ask.com, a writer for Silicon Alley Insider says Microsoft would be the most likely candidate and that the valuation is around $1 billion.
