Google has announced a brand-new certification program for its Google Analytics tool. Those of you that are well versed in Google Analytics will have the option of taking the Analytics IQ (Individual Qualification) Test to prove your skills. The test will cost you $50 to take and requires 75% correct to pass. Once you pass the IQ Test, you will be registered as Google Analytics Qualified which you will be able to use in your marketing efforts.
If you don’t feel that you are quite up to the level of Analytics “Expert”, Google has created ConversionUniversity.com wich is a free course on the finer points of Google Analytics. Even if you feel that you are an expert, I would recommend going through the free course anyway before spending your $50. If you feel you are ready, you can take the Analytics IQ Test here. Applicants are given 90 minutes to complete the test and the certification will be valid for a period of 18 months.
