Google just made a sizable $2 million donation to Wikimedia foundation, the non profit group that oversees Wikipedia. The publicly edited, 
volunteer driven reference tool has been recognized as a revolutionary tool for the web and search engines alike and has catapulted its donations past the $10.6 million fiscal revenue goal with the latest contribution from the search engine giant.
