The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Google may be launching its an app store to sell business software online in competition with Microsoft. They want give outside developers the opportunity to add capabilities to Google Apps for instance- enhanced security features or contact importing functionality. This enhancement to their product offering will also give developers the chance to share revenue based on the success of the apps, similar to the successful Apple App store model. This could mean huge potential revenue streams for both Google and developers. We’ll keep you posted.

hope this will be as great as the itunes store from apple and still open for other software. thats not so cool at itunes
