If you use Google’s AdWords as part of your marketing campaign, you might be glad to hear that Google launched the AdWords Editor 7.0 software last week. The new release comes less than three months after the release of version 6.5. Version 7.0 is now available for both Windows and Mac and can be downloaded here.

Upgrades in the new version of AdWords Editor include:

  • Use of first page bid estimates for your keywords in place of the former minimum CPC bids
  • Easily view the Quality Score for your keywords on the Keywords tab
  • The keyword Volume column now provides absolute numbers for the past month instead of scaled values
  • Many other fixes and updates. Check out the release notes for more information.

If you aren’t familiar with the free AdWords Editor tool, it can be very useful for managing multiple AdWords campaigns. The software will allow you to work on your campaigns offline and upload the changes anytime to your AdWords account. It is also great for making bulk changes to your account with just a few clicks. You can find out more about the AdWords Editor tool and download your copy here.
