About a month ago, we reported Google was approaching 72 percent market share. According to Experian Hitwise, they’ve done it, now capturing 72.25 percent of searches throughout December. Yahoo!, Bing and Ask share the rest of the market share aside from 1.5% by the 63 additional third tier engines.
