Hubspot Study Shows Value in Blogging

A while back I posted about a new service that I was helping to found that provided blog writing services to small businesses. The reason that I originally began working on the My Blog Writer website was that I strongly believe in the traffic and SEO benefits that blogging can have for any company or website. Marketing services provider HubSpot has just published the results of a study that help to show just how valuable blogging can be for a business.

The findings were based on an analysis of 1,531 of HubSpot’s customers (mainly small and medium businesses). The study compared vital website statistics of the 795 companies in the sample that blogged to the 736 that didn’t. The results showed very clear and significant value in business blogging. According to HubSpot, the average company that blogs has:

  • 55% more visitors
  • 97% more inbound links
  • 434% more indexed pages

Those numbers are pretty impressive. You can visit HubSpot for more detailed study findings, but the bottom line is that it clearly pays to have a blog on your company website. If you don’t have the time or know-how to maintain a company blog, consider hiring a quality blog writing service like My Blog Writer or one of the many available ghost writers on the net.
