We have had several requests to do a comprehensive overview of Market Samurai, one of the leading software programs for market research. This first review will be a general introduction to the product for those of you who aren’t familiar with it.

Market Samurai is one of the leading market research programs that some of the most successful internet marketers (yes, even Frank Kern raves about it), SEO specialists, Pay Per Click experts and affiliate marketers use to get the best insight on the markets they are going after. It is arguably the best market research software out there and is still only in Beta. The guys at Noble Samurai are doing it right. They are slowly launching the Beta for an unbelievable price and gradually increasing features and functionality as they get feedback from users.
Once you buy the full version, you don’t need to pay for the upgrades as they come which is unusual, but fantastic. Users can download the full version without a credit card for a 12 day full trial where they will have unlimited access to all of the features and the option of purchasing for only $97 within seven days. Once the 7-day period is up, the pricing goes up to $129 if you purchase between 7 and 12 days. Once the 12 day full version trial is up, the cost goes up to $149, and at this point all features BUT the keyword research tool are locked. Even if you don’t end up purchasing the full version, this keyword research tool alone is worth using on a regular basis and is totally free. If you don’t want to spend ANY money, at least download the keyword research tool, it’s well worth your time and doesn’t require a credit card. I actually waited until I was locked out to verify that this tool would remain fully functional and free and in fact it was.
Usability and User Interface
One of the more attractive features of Market Samurai is the user interface. The guys at Noble Samurai have obviously taken the time to really make this software easy to use and easy to navigate. I’d say the most brilliant thing about this software is the fact that it is pretty easy to use for those who aren’t as technically saavy, however still provides extremely advanced functionality for those who need it. I would consider myself an expert user, and I found the tool provided me with plenty of functionality for keyword research, seo competition, Rank Tracking and easy access to affiliate products. The publish content feature was not valuable to me, however I could see how a beginner internet marketer would find it pretty useful.
