According to a report released by the IAB and PricewaterhouseCoopers, online ad spending declined 5% during Q1 of 2009. Total online ad revenue was estimated at $5.5 billion for the quarter. The good news for online advertisers is that, despite the overall dollar decrease, online ad spending continues to receive a larger portion of overall advertising budgets. IAB also noted that the mobile search ad market continues to grow rapidly. The market for mobile ads is expected to grow nearly 30% this year.
