There are several good SEO toolbars available that allow Internet marketers quickly pull together useful SEO data on any website. Today I want to discuss one of my personal favorites, the SEOquake toolbar. In addition to being completely free, SEOquake also offers some other great advantages that have earned it my loyalty. For one, it is one of the only SEO toolbars that works for both FireFox and Internet Explorer users. Also, I have found SEOquake to be one of the most customizable tools. Tech-savvy users are able to add just about any piece of data to the toolbar with relative ease.

The SEOquake toolbar provides a wealth of information as you browse the web. The default information presented includes Pagerank, Alexa rank, Yahoo backlinks (page and domain), Delicious bookmarks, WhoIs info, and a few other items. Ann Smarty recently posted a great SEO toolbar comparisonchart that shows an extensive list of the SEOquake toolbar features.

I do want to make one quick disclaimer about using the SEOquake toolbar with Internet Explorer. As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the few toolbars that works with Internet Explorer, but IE users will not get the same level of integration and information that FireFox users will. While I personally use Internet Explorer quite often for general browsing, I highly recommend using FireFox for any SEO and marketing research you may need to do.
