A new report from Borrell Associates suggests that small-to-medium US businesses will spend significantly more on online and interactive advertising in the next few years. The report estimates that there will be a 275% increase in spending on streaming audio and video ads by these businesses and almost a 140% increase on email and direct ad spending.

Some industries including real estate firms are spending between 30 and 45 percent of their advertising budgets on Web advertising. Borrrell Associates estimates that the typical small-to-medium business still only spends 11% of their budget online, but this is still up significantly from 4% only a few years ago.

People will spend even more for online ads. As TV ads has no interection at all. Websites allow the users to interact with the ads by clicking on it. So online ads can also give oppurtunity to make sale after the person views the ad.
