If you haven’t logged into your Feedburner account recently, you may not be aware that Google has decided to move the Feedburner application to Google’s site. This means that you will need to transfer all of your Feedburner feeds over to Google by February 28, 2009. The good news is that Google is making the switch-over almost effortless.
Most users are being greeted with a message when they log into their Feedburner account that allows for the immediate transfer of their feeds. Once your feeds have been transferred, you will have to log in at http://feedburner.google.com going forward. Your old Feedburner feed url will be set to redirect readers to the new Google feed automatically. You might notice a drop in your subscriber numbers as the transition is made, but fear not, the decline is only temporary and all of your subscribers will eventually get transferred to the new feed.
As part of the integration with Google, there are a couple of new features that have been added. Now, all publishers that have an Adsense account can include Adsense ads in their feeds. The email delivery of RSS content was also upgraded as users will now be able to see the activity of their subscribers’ status.

Thanx a lot for the post. I have not been able to log into my Feedburner account for past few weeks and I am sure the password is correct. Cud it be related to the migration issue?
It could be. Have you tried logging into the new address at feedburner.google.com?
No but immediately after reading this post I was able to login to my feedburner account. I transferred the feed, took just a few clicks. Now feedburner.google.com says ‘My Feeds are getting Googlier still’…well I will believe them when Google Wemasters Tools would start accepting Feedburner Feed. I submitted my Feedburner feed to them a few months ago and it showed all kinds of errors, had to submit my RSS feed. Difficult for a non-tech guy like me to understand why Google does not support a service i has acquired?
Thanx again.
I went ahead and did this, and it was relatively painless, except for a bunch of days my Feedburner count was way off. The thing is, they said you could wait, but it was going to come at some point, so what was the point in waiting, right?
I am not sure why they have to do that. I mean they really could helped every one avoid the hassle of having to move blogs and websites to a new service. Yuck as we need more work to do
