You may have caught our previous post on Google’s announcement of the Canonical HTML  tagor “<link>” tag. Thankfully, it didn’t take long after Google’s announcement for the other two search giants, Yahoo and MSN, to provide their support for the new HTML tag also. Now, all three of the top search engines will recognize the <link> tag as an indication of which canonical URL form to use when retrieving search results. The consistency between these search engines is certainly good news for webmasters and internet marketers.
