A beta service called Yotify now allows you to track just about anything you want to online. The service is somewhat similar to Google Alerts, but will monitor many websites across the web including Craigslist, Ebay, Youtube, and even ESPN.com. In order to track something, you have to sign up for a free Yotify account which will allow you to then send out “Scouts” that do all the hard work for you. Yotify even adds in a social aspect to the scouts by allowing you to share your latest scouts with friends and others online. Yotify could be a great addition to Google Alerts for monitoring your online reputation, your website’s competition, or just about anything else for that matter!
